Sexy Men in Manga: Kazuhiko Yukimi

Kazuhiko Yukimi from Nabari No Ou is the classic tough-but-tender dude.  Lighthearted, but serious when necessary, he’s one of the more realistic personalities in a story fully of unbelievable wackiness. While his cohorts are using fantastic ninja powers and samurai swords, he’s there with his trusty gun…’cause this is the modern age, he says.

 

What’s the story with Yukimi?

 

-claims to hate ‘kids’ but is still kind to them, even spoonfeeding his young roommate when he’s sick

-smiles and jokes a lot, even during the middle of a fight

-passionate and expressive; definitely not doing the stoic act

-tries to be Mr. Get The Job Done and Nothing More, but changes to follow his heart when the shit hits the fan

-[spoiler alert] tough enough that when his arm gets cut off he could pick the gun out of his own severed limb’s hand and shoot his enemy with it!

 

So a character I didn’t think much of in the beginning in the story turned out to be one of my favorites in the end. Rawk!
