Angst-ridden Tobari of Nabari No Ou is a middle-school English teacher who also happens to be a ninja in his spare time. He has vowed to protect his student, Miharu Rokujou, from the dangers of using the Shinra Bansho secret ninja art. But just what is he really protecting? What’s else makes him sexy?

-tall, thin, with a chronic case of bedhead; the guy looks like a rock star, eh?

-absolutely falls apart when he’s forced to face his phobia of riding in vehicles. Fangirls love that sh*t.

-Irish! What’s sexier than an Irish accent? Aw, it’s too bed the person doing his voice for the English dub of the anime didn’t bother learning an Irish accent, but you can always imagine it for yourself.

-kind to a fault; often trying to help someone with their pain and trouble

-he’s hiding a secret ninja art in his ear cuff somehow. How cool is that?

And here’s a radical concept, at least in the context of the manga I’ve been reading lately…he actually appears to be gasp … heterosexually inclined! He has a girlfriend and kisses her! (Though their canon relationship is so run of the mill, nobody seems to ship them.) Although much has been made of his relationship with teenage boy Miharu, it seems clear to me that part of his affinity for Miharu is actually derived from his affection for Miharu's mother Asahi. Well, I don't care who he likes, I'd run my fingers through his hair anyday.
